Cafe Kawaii are a boba tea cafe and anime gift shop. They were looking for a design with familiar cute kawaii stylings which would work primarly on their shop front and interior.

A cute golden retriever dog has been set within a bubble, surrounded by bubble lettering ‘cafe kawaii’. Lowercase lettering has been used to evoke a feeling of friendliness and approachability. A light shade of teal was opted over a more typical kawaii shade to match the overall colour scheme of the design. Two different colours were used on the surrounding bubbles to help clarify the two separate words and to add variety.

It was deemed wise to produce a logotype version of the logo and a variant on the layout so that the mark could be rolled out a little more easily across Cafe Kawaii's various marketing materials and shop fittings.
