A plumbing and boiler installation company called Boil-It recently commissioned a logo design to kick start their rebranded business. This involved creating a few different design concepts to begin with.
The winning design explored a new color scheme based on client feedback and to add visual interest and avoid a generic look, a flame motif was used as the dot in the ‘I’. Rather than using the same symbol for both ‘I’ dots, the second flame was generated from the ‘cut-out’ middle part of the first flame. This approach created a better balance on the lighter weight of font used for the text ‘-it’. The final design was well-received by the client, and it effectively represents the brand's services and unique identity.
